TOPSHOP.
Topshop, a highstreet store very successful in it's market, targets to 15-30 year old women. As this target market range is youthful the consumers are very wary of fashion brands/trends/styles and will spend more and pay attention to the new-coming trends. The association with celebrities have attracted target markets with connotations of glamour and fame and recognition all over the world. With the high status and in a good position there is opportunity to expand the brand more into international markets, further stores have been opened in Brazil and Chile as part of the expansion into South America and have recently taken on the US opening a store in New York. – Expanding to Topman & children's wear.
Competitors for Topshop include the likes of H&M, French Connection and Zara, as they all incorporate celebrity status in their promotion and try to find the most attracting advertising and fashion icons. There is competition from fast fashion brands offering lower prices and similar clothing or styles.
