  1. The roles which primary health care plays in improving people's health are:
  • Health education helps change habits and unhealthy lifestyle.
  • Control, prevent and treatment for communicable as well as non-communicable diseases for local community especially mothers  and infants
  • Provide essential drugs.
  • Enhancing nutrition and food supply.

In my opinion, health education is the most important role because of the reasons below:

  • People need to have the basic knowledge about the disease so that they can protect themselves
  • People can prevent disease before it occurs or becomes worse
  • Minimize the harmful effects of the disease on human health, save the cost of health care
  1. Health care for mothers and infants should improve in VN are:
  • Raise awareness and improve education for people about the importance of the health of mothers and children.
  • Improve women`s right by support women in the family and society; erase barrier society, culture and prevailing inequalities
  • Increase nutrition for mothers and infants
  • Reform the quality of health care services

I agree with the statement: “pregnancy and child birth should not only be the responsibility of the mother” because:

  1. I think maternal health is a serious problem in a majority of countries because:

  • Maternal health is closely linked with subsequent generations.

  • The risk of maternal mortality as well as complications  in pregnancy and childbirth is highest for adolescent girls under 15 years old, which leading death of them in developing countries.
