Korean Leader Kim Jong Un, advertised that Korea has recently developed a Hydrogen bomb (H-bomb). The explosion when the Korean bomb was deployed was much too small to be a H-bomb. Also, Korea is not advanced enough to have an H-bomb, because they are so much more complicated than atomic bombs. The claims of North Korea having an H-bomb are not true and using some reliable sources I can prove it.
One reason the claims of North Korea having an H-bomb are not true is that the explosion is just not big enough. People monitoring the explosion saw that the explosion wasn’t even large enough to be a failed H-bomb. As stated by Associated Press, South Korea’s spy agency thought the explosion was much smaller than what even a failed H-bomb would produce” (1). The seismic waves caused by the explosion also did not match the intensity of an H-bomb’s waves. Associated Press writes what a South Korean lawmaker said, “The seismic wave caused by the underground explosion was just not large enough” (2). This proves that the claims of an H-bomb aren’t true because of the explosion but how advance North Korea is also proves the claims aren’t true.
