Coool coool cool ssay

It’s the first round, I’m so nervous my legs are shaking. Desperately running all the rules and strategies I’ve learned through my head, trying to focus on anything but the looming opponent in front of me. An ear piercing whistle bursts my bubble of anxiety, and just as soon as I hear the referee, all hell breaks loose. It’s my very first wrestling match, and my puny freshmen frame pales in comparison to my opponent. Were we really in the same weight class? Not that I had much time to ponder such questions. When my wrestling coach told me he was throwing the JV team to the wolves this meet, I guess he wasn’t joking. Luckily or luckily enough, I wouldn’t have to worry much longer. We circled each other, he looked experienced and I was left with no clue as to what I should do next. Fast as a snake, my opponent struck. It took me a moment to realize I had been taken to the mat, and by the time I could react I found myself on my back.That day,I set the Chamblee bulldog wrestling teams record for fastest pin time, and can proudly say it only took my opponent 34 seconds to put me belly up and bitter with the taste of my first loss.

High school was the first time in which I was allowed to participate in school athletics teams. In the spring, I signed up for cross country and enjoyed a long season of hot sun and sub-par performance. I never considered running particularly fun or interesting, but I had a few friends on the team to keep me entertained. It was towards the end of this spring season, after practice when I began to think about looking for another sport. I had spent all this time getting into shape, so what next? It was then I had my first encounter with the wrestling coach. He was talking to a teammate of mine, and from of the sound of it was looking for people to join. Because of experience with jiu jitsu and martial arts training from when I was younger, I thought that wrestling sounded like the perfect sport for me.
