3. i. Emotions: Food choices varies when it comes to mood. When some people are stressed or sad they tend to eat more and usually food that they can easily find like snacks, chocolate and ready meals

ii. Price: people with low budget tend to eat less or the variety of nutrients that they are consuming is less because some products are expensive and they avoid buying them because of the cost.

iii. Culture/religious: In some religious you are not allowed to eat pork or meat for a period of time so it can affect the choices of your food.

iv. Appearance: Most of people choose their food by how it looks. For example, if it's in a big portion and has nice color and smell they will choose that product, no matter if it's unhealthy, instead of a healthy product with good nutrients but with a not good appearance.

v. Taste: If a food taste bad, people will refuse to buy it again no matter if it's healthy.

vi. Food marketing/adverts: A good advert with nice colors and famous people will earn the attention of consumers and people will buy whatever their favorite celebrity is advertising. Also packaging has a great influence in people because they are choosing everything that looks better in the eye.

vii. Lifestyle: choosing food can be influenced by the way that you are living. If you work a lot you will not have time to prepare a meal and you will eat ready meals or snacks during the day. Also some people refuse to eat meat because they thing that we shouldn't eat animals.

viii. Health/allergies: People with heart diseases and high blood pressure will choose to eat healthier and food that has less fat. Also, people with allergies will be more careful with what they are buying to not buy a food that have the ingredient which they have allergy of.

ix. Friends/family influence: Our food choices can always be influenced by how others choose their food.

4. ‘Balanced meal' or ‘Balanced diet' means that the right portion and the right nutrients should be included in the meal or diet.
