III. There are many different species of parrots. Parakeets are one of them but they are not entirely the same. Both are very beautiful and majestic creatures, and they make great pets. Though parakeets are found more commonly in pet shops, parrots are similar because they are diverse. Parakeets are smaller, more playful, and they are easily to train. They have small beaks compared to the parrots beak. Even though both parrots are parakeets are very vocal, parrots are much louder and larger birds. A parrot size can range from a mere three inches to an impressive forty inches. Whereas parakeets are measured as a small to medium size bird. A parakeet cherish companionship and they develop strong bond with their owner. They enjoy each others company they do not mind sharing a cage with one another. Parrots are known for their beautiful color pattern and their powerful curved beaks. What makes parrots most popular is their variety of sizes, colors, and personality traits. Parrots have the distinction of speech imitation and are considered the most intelligent of birds. Parrots who are trained usually have the average intelligence of a 2-4 year-old. Some species can use tools and are able to solve puzzles. Parakeets are known for their long and pointed tail feathers along with their natural musical talent. Though parakeets are a type of parrot, they are two very different and unique birds.
