First am going to use the actual definition for trigonometry. Trigonometry is the branch of mathematics dealing with the relations of the sides and angles of triangles and with the relevant functions of any angles. So that the actual definition of trigonometry. To me trigonometry is the measurement of a triangle sides and angles. I may also say it’s a more in depth look at the Pythagorean Theorem. Trigonometry also has relationships with other branches of math. Math such as complex numbers, infinite series, logarithms and calculus they all help with trigonometry in some way somehow. Some people may say that trigonometry is the calculation part of geometry. In geometry angles are treated as quantities but aren’t really measured in trig the angles are both quantities and measured. There are three special functions in trig sine, cosine and tangent these functions helps us in the world of trigonometry. Trigonometry is from Greek meaning triangle measure so in trig am expected to draw and study a lot of triangles. I want to be a computer engineer and I believe that trigonometry can help me greatly in my felid of studies. Everything that I have wrote here I believe describes trig. Of course there still more to trig but that the reason why am taking trig to better understand what am going up against.
