Vicarious liability relates to a situation where someone is held liable for the actions or decisions of another person. In a working environment, an employer can be liable for the acts or omissions of its employees, provided it can be shown that they took place in the course of their employment. The definition of the word vicariois can help understand this law, it means experiencing the imagination through the feelings or actions of another person.
