The ability to objectively and decisively decide when a project stands to gain no benefit related to cost is critical to a company’s success.

Various factors exist that hinder the ability to decide when a projects continued existence is detrimental. The first of these is ego, the desire for your ideas to succeed is one that is ingrained and present in most project leaders.
