This report provides an analysis study of introducing Wood Lumber Co, a leading wood brand from US to Morocco (African market).

Wood Lumber Co is a leading wood company in Canada which started its operation in the 1912. With its persistent growth strategy of high quality products, the company has remained successful in gaining a significant market share.

Wood Lumber Co has already expanded its operation across the US boundaries and entered the Asian-Pacific's emerging middle classes.

The demand of the wooden products is increasing globally and a similar trend is observed in the African market as well. Moreover, as Morocco is heavily dependent on imports for meeting the fuel demands, energy-efficient goods would stay successful in this market as they would help the individuals in cutting costs. The government would also encourage such products as lower fuel consumption will result in a cut in the fuel imports of the country, thus improving the balance of trade of the country. As a result of this the GDP of the company will grow.

Wood Lumber Co has remained consistent in following its strategy of providing high quality products. After China, Morocco's market also offers a great potential for such international brands. Already, various local players are operating in the market and the market is expected to grow with an increasing demand of plywood. Thus it is a suitable market for the company to enter in.

The target customer of the company would be the upper middle class individuals of the society especially the women segment. In Morocco, the concept of energy-efficient products is increasing as the electricity cost is quiet high. However such windows and doors are absent in the market. They think that it is a better substitute as it slower the energy consumption and cuts the electricity costs.
