In this paper, I will focus on the pattern T-square in my natal chart, which includes Venus, Uranus and the apex Jupiter.
Part 1: Planets
Venus, in Gemini in the 10th house (conjunct Moon, Charon)
As this position is complicated--three planets conjunct as stellium, I will give an overview of these planets. The placement indicates that for this individual, social skills are the gift of finding common ground with others through communication. They may have a desire to create equal ‘sibling-like’ relationships with friends, partners and colleagues – so other people may be attracted to these sociable, articulate and friendly qualities (Venus, Gemini). These characteristics and skills will be part of how others identify them and fundamental to working life (10th house). He needs to be publicly recognized for his achievements (Moon). Communication, ideas, writing, and teaching, which are related to intellectual activities, may play an important role in his career choice (10th house, Gemini). Although relationships, emotion, thoughts, ideas are important for him, it is not easy for him to believe that he deserves to be loved. He may fear communicating with others or forming a solid relationship with others. As wounded teacher, he may have the opportunities to heal or teach people in a way that benefits humanity. (Chiron)
Uranus in Sagittarius in the 4th house
Uranus and Sagittarius share the same characteristics of freedom, future, open-mind and looking for wider world. As an outer planet, Uranus usually stays in Sagittarius for 7 years (1981-1988), in the collective lever, the energy of this placement suggests the desire for intellectual freedom – to leap bravely into new worlds or be given unlimited room to experiment. So during these 7 years, new technologies such as personal computers and mobile phones brought radical change of people’s life, expanded people’s vision of the world. Added the 4th house in the natal chart, this placement indicates a busy, unusual and unconventional home-life. There is an urge to search for freedom, higher meanings of life. This may be manifested as form a “family-like” relationship with people who can share their belief and value, and on the other hand he may be detached with his original family. There may be sudden change in his home environment—moving frequently in order to take adventure and travel, being detached with family to search for higher meaning of life independently .
Jupiter in Pisces in the 7th house
Jupiter in Pisces is endowed with a fiery spirit of adventure and discovery. Exploring in artistic, imaginary, dreaming world and experiencing life on an instinctive, intuitive and imaginative level. This individual may escape from the worldly duties and earthly consideration to achieve perfection. With the 7th house, in one-to-one relationship, this placement suggests to seek relationship in the context of bigger picture by expanding their mind through higher education, traveling, philosophy, religion and arts. Nothing has a clear-boundary for them. They have the impulse to merge with something, which is greater than them, sacrifice themselves for higher meaning. In the relationship, spiritual connection is very important for them and they may want to build relationship with people who can share common religions, interests in high education, travel or philosophy.
Part 2: Aspect pattern
This is a mutable T-Square, which means the license is about flexibility, mental challenge and learning about comparison. This individual may also have the challenge of restlessness, unhappy stick with one thing, superficial and lack of commitment.
The tension of this opposition between Venus and Uranus, between Gemini and Sagittarius indicates that although this individual values to maintain relationship (Venus) by discovering of facts, information and ground knowledge (Gemini), he will also have the impulse to explore changes (Uranus) to be free, independent and searching for higher meaning of life (Sagittarius). The 10th house/4th house axis indicates that the struggle to integrate these opposites will revolve around career and family, social status and roots.
