After my reading of the Chapter 11: Social Change and the Search for Self
1. I have learned the New Religious Movement is a religious or spiritual group of modern origin and occupies a peripheral place in the dominant religious culture of society. NRM may be novels of origin or a part of a wider religion, in which case they differ from the prevalent denominations. Some NRMs respond to the challenges posed by the world of modernization by embracing individualism while others seek collective means.
2. I was surprised to know is an instrument used to gauge self-idea. It was propelled in 1954 by Manfred Kuhn and Thomas McPartland, to find an institutionalized method to quantify suppositions and states of mind. TST has helped in giving a logical vehicle to researching the idea of self in social brain research. Kuhn found that the reactions of the five sorts of coding differ with recurrence relying upon the respondent's age, sex and occupation.
3. I see how the chapter information relates to my life is that I developed self-awareness, so It can change the idea and understanding I have as a main priority. Changing the translation in my psyche enables me to change my feelings. Mindfulness is one of the characteristics of enthusiastic supposition and is a vital factor in making progress
