Trader Joe's: Based on the data collected, Trader Joe's caters to a slightly different target market than the other retailers in this study. The store feels less commercial than those of its competitors. The building was significantly smaller than any of the other stores visited. Trader Joe's offers a wide variety of health oriented products. These efforts are directed towards a niche target market of people who favor a more personal shopping experience and are generally interested in living a health conscious lifestyle.
Stater Brothers: Stater Brothers is directing its efforts towards the surrounding neighborhood that it operates within. The store is large in terms of square footage and exhibits a conventional supermarket layout. It offers its customers an expansive assortment at great prices.
