Pushing Forward

        What makes the world go round? This simple object given so much value to the modern world motivates millions of people to push forward and thrive for this man-made idea called money. I do not believe in the phrase “money cannot buy happiness” because money is required for any transaction to push you forward in life. Many things motivate me to work hard but the gap from me and the things I want is money.

        One motivational factor money gives me is desire. I have many desire for things like cars, a bigger house or things that are necessary like food and clothes. The only way to obtain these wants and needs is through transactions using money. Majority of people use their money to satisfy their needs like food to feed their family or to pay for their shelter. But I want to make enough money to satisfy my needs and still have enough to pay all my desires and live a life a never had. 

        Some people think the lust for money can bring nothing but evil and greed, but I intend not to just spend my money on myself but on my loved ones. In today’s society there is a saying “Nothing in life is free” without money it would be impossible to sustain a family. I look up to my father for being able sustain all of my family lone handed, I want to work as I can so my family doesn’t have to. Not only being able to take care of my own family in the near future to come but I would like to return the favor to my parents and take care of them in their elderly years. Money also gives a dominate roll to someone in the family which I’d like to take from my father.

“Money Talks”, it’s a common phrase heard by many people around the world. Having deeper pockets gets your point across rather than someone who is less fortunate. That being said money can give any person power and respect. Again not going towards the path of evil and go “mad with total power” I would like to have respect and power to have credibility to some of my ideas to better the world. Most great ideas go unheard because the person who thought them has no voice in society, as being poor makes you irrelevant in this environment of capitalism. Many people go to the wealthy for loans to kick start their ideas and let them be noticed in society. So my motive of having money is to be the voice for our future inventors.

        “Too much money isn’t enough money”, There is no limit on how much money you can have, and there will always things to buy. This theory being running to a finish line that isn’t really there. Once you reach for the sky there still the stars to explore making my dedication to hard work never ending. Every day I will grow better and continue to do so as there is no desired goal to be met. This philosophy will increase my experiences and I will be able to pass this on to my offspring, in hope of bettering future generation of my family to be success and well known as those of today’s society. For instance, the Kardashian family came to be because of their hard working father who won a very famous case, the OJ Simpson case, this one man gave recognition to his whole family for never stopping and saying this is good enough. 

        Money is recognized by people all over the world but more importantly the pocket it is in. Many the most well-known people in the world are also the richest. It would be great to recognized by a huge audience and being a role model for many. I would also want the fame to be able to tell my story on how I got to where I got be. As seen by many reality television shows, the life of a celebrity is packed with excitement and fun which how I would like to live my life, meeting fans and having lunch with most important people of our generation. A benefit of being famous is being privileged in doing things unrecognized people would most likely not be able to do like meeting the president or being invited to very important meetings or ceremonies. Being famous could sky rocket someone’s ego with pride.
