Communication of all types is a form of persuasion. Involvement in elaboration likelihood model, both central and peripheral routes are effective styles of persuasion techniques; however each one has strategies and principles to make it more persuasive. Messages sent through the central route must possess a high level of receivers’ involvement, as the receivers will carefully consider all the elements from every angle of the message and whether the message relates to their concern in order to evaluate the proposal in terms of whether it make sense and their benefits. However, it is difficult to use the ELM model once the attitude of the receiver is changed (Scott, 1996)
