                        Jackson and the removal of the Indians

                In 1828, Jackson was elected president of the United States. He thought it was be a good idea to move the Indians out of their homes. Jackson thought it would be best if the Indians moved their homes lands somewhere else. He thought it was good for their safety

Jackson thought moving the Indians out of their homes would be good so that, the American’s had more land and for Indian safety. Jackson thought the Indians were in danger. Jefferson thought there might be a war started if they didn’t move out of their homes. In 1838, the government sent out a lot of troops forcing the Indians out, a lot of them died on their way to the western lands. (Jefferson).
