Which factors you feel play a greater role pertaining to the problems associated with public order crimes like illegal drug use, and prostitution

Illegal drug use and illegal prostitution present some of the same issues in the United states as well as in other countries. Prostitution can lead to illegal drug abuse, sharing of hypodermic syringes or AIDS/HIV. Prostitutes can also become subjects to human traffickers by their pimps or the people they work for during their time of prostitution (Seo-Young. 2012). Prostitution is known as the oldest profession in the world and some people also describe it as the nastiest job. This job can be very dangerous physically, as well as, mentally to anyone forced to participate in any prostitution act.

Like illegal prostitution, illegal drug trafficking, as well as, sale and distribution is not only unlawful, it is dangerous and can be harmful to the person that is addicted to their drug of choice. Drug use began as early as 1903 by Bayer-Email Fisher and Joseph Von Mering and was legalized in some states (Schram & Tibbetts. 2017). However, during the 1980’s it was actually introduced to the public the entire negative effect that alcohol has own the people involved using it. Drugs like prostitution have the risk of the user needing more money which leads to theft and burglary (Nobert. 2017). Therefore, I really believe each of these roles play on the other.

Discuss with your classmates possible solutions to the problems of illegal drug use, and illegal prostitution.

I believe legalizing both prostitution and some types of drugs would be safer and more beneficial for people, as well as, the government. If prostitution was legalized a haven was developed for the women and men to live they would not have to answer to their boss or pimps. These women and men could have access to free condoms and their “homes” would be monitored so that the people they serve would not be allowed to treat them poorly. It is believed that if prostitution is legalized women who are stay at home workers would have option to choose prostitution as their profession because it will be a safer profession (Seo-Young, C. 2012). The prostitute would also have more chance to get medical and dental assistance and have the opportunity to have doctor visits on a regular basis.

Another instance I think should happen is legalizing medical marijuana while being regulated by the local state government. As of 2016 twenty-five states had passed the law to legalize medical marijuana (Schram & Tibbetts 2017). I think medical marijuana should be legalized in all fifty-two states. I know that my aunt has arthritis terribly and she has stated more than once that if when they pass the bill in SC she will be getting her medical marijuana prescription. You must understand this is a lady that never believed in any type of drugs including marijuana. She has researched the results of using marijuana and believes
