Hogan Personality Inventory

The HPI measures day to day personality and gives detailed information regarding traits that facilitate a person’s interactions with others and achieves educational, professional or social goals. On this section, my highest rated competencies were Inquisitive and Learning Approach.

A high score in inquisitive indicates that I’m a strategic, longer-term, big-picture view low process & execution focus person. In other words, every move I make I see the long-term impact. Although I might have a good idea, I look more into details to see whether it is sustainable in the long run and feasible. Formulating a strategy without proper execution lead to short outcomes. For instance, a decision to pursue an MBA to gain business skills to manage a business in 5 rather than continuing the current job focused on technical skills only although well paid.

A high score in Learning approach indicates that I’m a continuous, “traditional,” learning style; possibly seems pedantic. In other words, I focused on details in my learning style, take notes, follow directions and continuously interact to learn new content and topics.

Hogan Development Survey

The Hogan Development Survey assesses nonproductive behaviors that emerge during stressful situations. In this section, my highest rated competencies are Reserved, Mischievous, Diligent and Skeptical. A high score in reserve means I ‘m not communicative enough and not socially involved. For instance, I do not like outgoing activities. In addition, being mischievous mean, I take more risks and I’m not trustworthy during stressful situations.

Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory

This section the person values, preferences and skills in an organization. In this section, my high score competencies are science, commerce, and Power. Power means I like authority, hierarchy power. Science implies that I’m analytical, with good problem-solving skills.

On this section, my lowest rated competencies were Sociability and adjustment. Sociability low score refers to the fact that I’m focused, on myself, and have difficulties in initiating networking. A low score in adjustment means I’m slow to react, more pessimistic in my approach.

Hogan Development Survey

The Hogan Development Survey assesses nonproductive behaviors that emerge during stressful situations. In this section, my lowest rated competencies are Cautious and colorful. A low score in colorful expresses my inability to socialize and the fact that I may seek more attention.

Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory

This section the person values, preferences and skills in an organization. In this section, my low score competencies Affiliation, aesthetic and Tradition. In other words, I do bond easily with others and have a hard time to respect rules in places or common practices and I’m more autonomous.
