Heroism

Heroism has become a very relative term, often of which people could not possibly have more different opinions. Some may see heroism in a political light, self-confidence, war, and many other instances. In the case of Beowulf, he displayed himself as a hero in several aspects, of which can relate and differ from todays culture, with the same applicability serving in Biblical terms. Many may ask what constitutes as a hero. By definition, a hero is a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. That being said, there are many things about Beowulf that match these attributes, along with many cultural and Biblical opinions that match alike in light of heroism.
