First/third Essay Example

First person

School was terrible today. Sometimes I just can't handle the amount of drama in this place... It drains me. If its not a problem within my friendship group then it's a problem with bullies and if not bullies then its teachers. You can never win with high school. Being at home is not better most of the time. My dad is pretty harsh on me.

I come home from school completely drained just like most days. All I want to do is curl up in a little ball and go to sleep, so I do exactly that. Slowly drifting off into a world where none can hurt me.

I wake up to a massive door slam. It's my father home from work. Shit.

I was suppose to have al the chores done before he got home. Here we go again with the yelling and screaming, telling me how useless I am, how I am going nowhere in life if I can't do a few simple chores, then he brings up the hole i need help, i cant do it on my own speech as if I don't know all this I hear every second day. I can here my sister next door, crying.

Then I turn to my father and go to say something... Bang, straight across my face, that hand print won't be leaving for a while. Why me?

Third person

She gets home from school, grumpy as usual. She gets straight in her bed she curls up in a little ball and goes to sleep just like every other day.

I hope she wakes up before dad gets home, I don't want them to fight.

Dads car pulls up, oh no, she never got up, I run to the corner of my room where he can't see me.

I hate it when they fight, her door opens with a slam.

Then the yelling starts, my crying starts, he doesn't usually get this mad but when he does its usually for a good reason. Then a slap, it sounded like a hard one, I don't think the mark will go away anytime soon. I hope she's alright.
