                    The fourteen Amendment

 The fourteen amendment is about “All person born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof are citizens of the U.S and of the state where they reside’’ both of the cases one of them being Plessy v. Ferguson and the other one is Brown v. Board of education apply to the fourteen amendment.

      In the case of Plessy v. Ferguson the claim was separate but equal and the fourteen amendment say that they couldn’t force any law which shall abridge the privileges of citizens of the U.S. Plessy was asked to leave the section of the train because he was black .He refused to leave the section of the train reserve for the whites so the state of Louisiana statute required railroad companies to provide .it also say that if the law “stamps the colored race with a badge of inferiority’’ it is because the colored race choose to put that construction upon it .

   In the case of Brown v. Board of education , the claim was that children of color were denied admission to schools attended by white children under law that permitted or required segregation by race this means that the fourteen amendment addresses citizenship rights and equal protection of the law. All children have the right to an education whether they are white or not meaning that they were claiming for equality .Also like the fourteen amendment says “nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction equal protection of the law’’ so they don’t have the right to denied any child from any race
