Without death there would be no point in life, no limitations, no goals and no motivation. Because with death we have time as a determining factor, something we fight with, something we try to keep up with everyday. Time is always running out for us. We therefore can’t achieve everything in life and that is why people set priorities. Without death people will not be like they are now, they will live life in a way that they won’t have goals or priorities because they can achieve everything without time as a restriction.

In my perspective death is something we all have to deal with and accept. It is something we were born to encounter. To be honest, we are born and then we wait to die. Our life is just the journey between that. However, I have to admit, I am also scared of death and dying. I am scared of not existing and not seeing what will be going on in a world without me. I am scared of the pain. I also have to admit that I would always try to distract myself when the thought of death comes to my head and to avoid it. But this never helped, I got more and more scared of death and it was a though that came to my head several times a week at a really young age. But now, I have grown up to a certain degree and I understand that death is a natural part of life. Everyone has to go through it and in fact, that is the only certain thing in life (apart from taxes) which is what my teacher at school used to say.
