Hi everyone,

In hopes of your approval, I would like to elaborate on why an audit of our organization’s culture would greatly identify and maximize our positive aspects, and identify any barriers that may affect our communications.

First, I would like explain what a culture audit is and then I will give examples of other businesses that displays very good organization culture practices that not only benefit their company but the employees as well.

Slide #1: An organization culture is shared values and assumptions governing the way employees within an organization think about and act on problems and opportunities.

Slide #2: (Here is just a few levels of organization cultures.)  

Cultural values are collective beliefs, assumptions, and feelings about what things are good, normal, rational, valuable, etc.

Slide #3”: (There are many areas of cultures in a organization. (such as Service culture and Safety culture) I will be focusing on a few, Innovation, Aggressive, Outcome-oriented, etc)

Slide #4: (Here are a few examples of businesses with very good cultures………)

3M – is a Innovative Technology for a Changing World. Their culture is: “The future of 3M, It doesn’t matter if you are a engineer or a laborer for the company, one good idea from anyone can open many doors for a company.  3M culture is special because whatever they do, it is always going to come out in a positive way.
