Communication in the workplace is very important. Communication can be a double edge sword. According to Eunson “if only we could communicate more things would be better,” but this is not necessarily true as we can also overcommunicate on an issue. Communication is an important factor in building relationships with teams, clients and vendors.
In one company that I worked for communication is constant. This prevents asymmetry of information and ensures the smooth running of the organization. In an organization that ships over 600,000 units daily, communication and effective communication is paramount. There are several tasks going on at the same time and as the Manager of the team, the priority is to ensure that there is effective communication to keep the organization at optimal operations.
