The culmination of education within a university setting leaves the learners vulnerable and exposed, especially when one lacks clearly defined goals. Personally, I would appreciate finding a job that I treasure doing especially one that is defined by acceptable demands. Secondly, I would also adore being in a job that gives me exposure and an opportunity to interact with different people on a daily basis. Finally, I would love to be in a career that is associated with beverages and particularly coffee.

My purpose in life is to be a noble and decent character, an individual who is respectable in the society, and acknowledged by friends, family and loved as kind and compassionate. My hope, just as that of a transformational leader, is to use my strengths and in spite of my weaknesses, try to make a positive impact in the world we live in at the moment (Osula, & Ng, 2014). My values would be honesty, trustworthiness, politeness, outdoor exploration, as well as caring. Cumulatively, three questions that guide my actions would be; is it ethical? How would I feel in his or her shoes?  Do I have the confidence to do it all over again? Drawing from my mission, passion, and character, my dream goal would be to open a coffee shop. Other than that, I would love to work as a barrister or a beverage hotel manager.  All of the three career opportunities are based on my passion for coffee.

Marketing and Implementation Strategy

“To offer unrivaled variations of coffee brewed with love of a coffee lover and fanatic”. Essentially, in my line of work, my target market would primarily be customers of the younger age, such as teenagers, couples, and young families. As an employee within the beverage sector, I would rely on my trustworthy, honesty, caring, and polite virtues to create a reputable rapport with the clients, one that would build if not uphold or improve the company’s brand and image, elements that every employ within any institution should observe (Goodman et al., 2018). When focusing on differentiation, I would infuse a mix of the western culture with contemporary elements of the Arab world to my coffee servings, aspects such as garnishing, presentations, flavors and other ingredients that would set my style apart from the rest.

Risk and Mitigation

The key, milestones in my plan would be to first adequately practice and acquire various coffee brewing and presentation skills. The given milestone would be accomplished through training sessions, apprenticeship, and voluntary service to prominent beverage stalls, such as XVA Café, and Raw Coffee Company (Rajagopal et al., 2011). The second milestone would be setting up of a personal coffee shop, as this would be the primary career goal from the onset. The checkpoint for this milestone would be the registration of a private coffee firm and brand, as well as the identification of probable startup spots. Once the milestone has been achieved, expansion and keeping afloat of the brand’s services to other regions in UAE would be the next and final milestone target. The measurement for milestone success would be employed in the first scenario, the establishment of a growing popularity, accelerating returns, as well as a booming market niche in the second and third scenario.  The main external factor that might affect my success is competition from similar firms or brands, an elemnt that is present in most markets.
