When you see the title “The Pursuit of Happyness” you may feel puzzled, why is the Y not the I. On purpose, the director use it to tell us “There is no Y in happiness , It’s an I.” When an American faces difficulties, they won’t complain them, they will rely on themselves to hug their happiness. One of the important part in individualism is dependent.

God helps those who help themselves. The shawshank redemption show us an opinion ,we ought to be full of hopes in our hearts, at last, your dream will hug you. Courage is also necessary in American individualism.
